The Condado of Torre constitutes the financial basis of the Foundation of the Houses of Fronteira and Alorna, which is self-sufficient financially. Thanks to the good relations it maintains with the Municipality of Ponte de Sor, the Foundation supports local development and the cultural policy of the municipality, and cooperates actively with the Centre for Arts and Culture of Ponte de Sor.
